Christie Lamb is a high energy, passionate performer with an engaging personality who never fails to impress. Her music showcases a unique style with a powerful rich vocal and a strong ‘earthy’ feel.

At the tender age of 19 Christie has achieved an astonishing amount whilst studying music and performing every week.

She has already performed for the then Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, and at the 10th Anniversary of the Sydney Olympic Games. Notably, Christie was one of two vocalists chosen from 6,000 NSW students to perform in THE 2009 HSC ENCORE CONCERT at the Sydney Opera house with her own composition.

She has also performed many times at Sydney Entertainment Centre as pre-show entertainment for international artists such as James Taylor, Carole King, Cat Stevens, Evanescence, Meatloaf and Thirsty Merc as well as performing in Schools Spectacular. Christie has also shared the stage with some of our best country artists including Gina Jeffreys, Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, Catherine Britt, The McClymonts and Felicity.

A graduate of the 2010 Talent Development Project (TDP), Australia’s most successful and respected entertainment industry training program, and the CMAA Senior Academy of Country Music, Christie is a Singer/Songwriter/ Pianist/ Guitarist who received a full four year scholarship from the University of Western Sydney – Bachelor of Music – to enable her to complete her music studies in 2012.

In October 2010, Christie was chosen as the only singer in NSW to enter the National Mentoring Project JUMP for young and emerging artists. As part of her prize, she spent 2011 under the mentorship of Gina Jeffreys and Rod McCormack. This led to the production and release of Christie’s debut EP in December 2011.

This year Christie was a finalist in Toyota Star Maker and was voted Most Popular New Independent Artist at The Meet n Greet Country Awards in Tamworth 2012.

Christie’s debut single “Mr Wrong” peaked at #3 for two weeks on Country Tracks Top 30 and remained in the top 5 singles for seven weeks. “Mr Wrong” also climbed to #4 on Mildura Hot FM.

Her debut video clip, produced by award winning director Duncan Toombs is currently in the top 30 on the Country Music Channel - CMC.
