Murphy's Pigs is a
nine-piece Celtic band from Brisbane, and has
gained a reputation for its passion, energy,
irreverence and popularity as a sought after festival
act. The band has performed at the world's largest
Celtic festival - 'Festival Interceltique' in France,
the Woodford Folk Festival, the Australian Celtic
Festival, the Gympie Music Muster and many other local
festivals, tattoos, cultural events and corporate
functions.
Their music has received airplay in France, on 98.9FM,
ABC Radio, 4BC, and 4EB.
Irish, Scottish, Australian, Breton and Galician music-
they play it all.
Guitars, fiddle, flute, bagpipes, banjo, bodhran,
percussion, keyboards, mandolin and rich vocal harmonies
combine to produce a powerful, distinctive and
