The Sublimes are Angie, Susi, Linda & Annemarie, the "all female vocal group" known for their "good fun" presentation of dance music from the Roaring 20s through to the Noughties!!. They describe the music they perform as the most popular hits of each era, the songs to which everyone knows the words. They cover such artists as Abba, Al Jolson, Shania Twain, Vanessa Amarossi, Jennifer Lopez, Vera Lynn, The Andrews Sisters, Nancy Sinatra as well has her dad Frank, Bill Haley & the Comets, Jerry Lee Lewis, Skyhooks, Michael Jackson, The Supremes, The Pointer Sisters and Dusty Springfield to name a few. Therefore, the age group they appeal to ranges from 25 through to 100 and everywhere in between.
Their
presentation is visually entertaining and includes lively dancing, and costume
changes from the glamorous through to the ridiculous! They are known for their
beautiful vocal harmonies but are particularly famous for their rapport with the
audience. The Sublimes involve their audience by getting amongst them, singing
songs sitting on laps and even encouraging the audience members to play games!
The Sublimes are Interactive Cabaret at its best!!!
